Cultural Legacy & Heritage

We are beyond proud to receive the Cultural Legacy & Heritage Award — recognising over 30 years of dedication to dance education, artistry & community.

🏆 Cultural Legacy and Heritage Award – Honorary & Lifetime Achievements (history since 1989, long-standing productions, and contribution to Ireland's dance culture)

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of The Goode School of Dance especially to the dedicated support of my wonderful teachers, Philippa Roche, Rachel Tracey, Catherine O Keefe, Emma Hayward and Deirdre Wallace. This Honour celebrates over three decades of dedication to dance education, creativity, and community, preserving the beauty and heritage of dance while inspiring the next generation. From our tiniest little stars to out accomplished advanced dancers every student, family has helped build this legacy

It was an wonderful night of celebration of the dance industry, and on behalf of the Irish Ballet Teachers Association, and in my role as Treasurer, I was delighted to accept two awards. The IBTA has developed a Creative Dance and Movement module that is now included in the Junior Certificate short courses. We are thrilled that this achievement has been recognised at the awards.
